Another interesting video by IKnowSkyline is this video of the Nissan R382 preparing for the 1969 Japanese Grand Prix:
You can see that Nissan put three R382s at the starting grid and they had almost to no competition from the Toyota 7s and Porsche 917s and started all three from pole position:
Also note the rear fins on the 917: they were controversial on Le Mans less than four months earlier.
The soundtrack is that typical late 60s flute-Jazz which was made famous by Herbie Mann and really emphasizes the mood! Let’s hope IKnowSkyline keeps up posting amazing videos like this! :)
