Nissan versus BMW, Skyline versus 5 series, R31 versus E34, bippu versus autobahnstürmer. Do I need to say more?

Yesterday I received an email from Neil that he found some awesome car driving on the Irish highways, so I clicked on the link and faced this JZX100 taxi!
WTF: Chaser JZX100 taxi in Ireland!
Only a few drivers on the highway will actually take notice of such a car and that, of course, separates them from the ignorant… :P
Read more about this taxi at Juicebox!
I have no idea what brand/model these mesh wheels are, but I had a big WTF moment when I spotted them on the beach in Bali:
Deep dished mesh rims reused
They look like fake BBS knock offs and they are quite clearly FWD rims.
Here is picture that puts them into context:
Deep dished mesh rims reused
Yes they are indeed used to haul the fishermen’s boats (actually the “fake” fishermen’s tourist boats) to shore!
Nevertheless it is still a very classy to haul your boat with a set of deep dish mesh wheels! :P
Proof that stickerbombing is not some new craze at all:
Nineties stickerbombed kouki Trueno AE86
Okay, not entirely true: the stickers are perfectly aligned to each other (just like the late 90s/early 00s TFNF fashion) but the whole car is covered…

We’ve all seen them and loved them: the Nissan Sileighty. Basically a Nissan 180SX with a Silvia S13 nosejob and the end result is a very beautiful blend of a GT hatchback sportscar.
Now what would you do if you do have a Silvia frontend but don’t have a 180SX? Take a Celica XX and swap the Silvia’s nose on it!
WTF?! Toyota Silica?!
I don’t have a better picture of it, but nevertheless it’s looks are stunning!
So, Celica XX MA46 + Silvia S13 = Silica?
When I think of a high performance Skyline R30 I alway picture either the louvre grille DR30 or the tekkamen (Iron Mask) DR30, but not this thoroughbred 2000GT Turbo:
Thoroughbred Skyline 2000GT Turbo
Thoroughbred in Skyline terms means it is at least having a L20 engine under its hood:
Thoroughbred Skyline 2000GT Turbo
And normally a thoroughbred L20ET should have a bit more oomph than its predecessor but in this case Nissan kept the entire L20ET the same as in the C211. Perhaps they thought it meant that the shell was thoroughbred and its engine were the strong genes remaining from its predecessor?
