Widebody Honda CRX Mk II ED9 [Down on the Street]

This widebody Honda CRX Mk II ED9 has been featured two and a half years ago in the down on the street photo series.

Back then it looked like the build was relatively new and I shot a few photos of it. I even made an attempt to shoot a video Wasabi Cars style, but as it was winter the lack of ambient light made it look horrible. And then it disappeared and probably went back to Poland.

Ebay Treasures: Nissan Silvia S12 Grand Prix project

It is always sad to see an abandoned project for sale, especially if it may be a well known Nissan Silvia S12 Grand prix widebody:

According to the ad the Nissan Silvia S12 Grand Prix has been stripped to bare metal and all rust has been resolved and a cage has been welded in.

On Friday I already promised some some photos of a spectacular Nissan. Well here it is: a widebody Nissan Silvia S12 Grand Prix!

The car looked very very clean. No spec of rust to be found and the whole car appeared to be 100% authentic!

The Grand Prix version of the Nissan Silvia was a limited edition (4.400 built) from which the majority featured the more powerful FJ20E engine.

This particular Silvia also featured that very same FJ20E engine. :)

Most of the S12 Grand Prix widebodies featured these vintage Gotti 3 piece rims.

I never saw a Grand Prix before and I must admit I was blown away by its appearance! Hence I spent four precious pieces of celluloid on it. ;)

Imagine getting a tip to collect two unused 80s Nissan Skylines and when arriving at the spot you find this to be parked between the bushes:

An 90s drag race monster based upon a Skyline DR30!

The hood is a lightweight FRP bonnet by Rebic, headlights have been replaced for dummy items and the front wheels are a set of lightweight Wats.

At the rear two big ass wheels plus tires, a wide (center) exhaust that would make my drainpipe die of envy. ;)

And what about the other Skyline?
