Carina Sightings: find the Corona T120!


This hideous creation is actually a Corona T120!

At first I thought there was a Corolla KE70 hiding under that ill fitted front and backend, but after close inspection on encountering the very same car at the airport I concluded that it had to be a Corona T120.

As you can see these KE70 wind deflectors are ill fitted on the doors and the shape of the mid section of the bodywork distincts it from the KE70.

Can anyone guess what car was used as the donor of the frontend? :P

Irian Jaya: Corona and Corolla touge monsters


On the day of arrival I took a small stroll around the hotel area and encountered these two touge monsters!

On the left a Corona T120 sedan with … rims and on the right a two door Corolla KE35 on RS Waranabe rims with a bit more wild modifications than the Corona.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Corolla pass by for work on another morning stroll and its raspy exhaust noise was as enjoyable as the looks of it.

On the last day I made another morning stroll but did not meet the owner so I just put a Bosozoku Style sticker under the windshield wipers of both cars. ;)
