Remembering Japanese cars from the past
Shortly before Mr. Itirou Makoto Sakurai passed away (January 17th 2011) a DVD by Visual Museum appeared with an interview with him. The DVD covers the second (S54B), third (PGC10) and fourth (KPGC110) generations of Skylines. It could very well have been his last interview.

The music, short skirted female silhouette and montage: it all feels a bit 90s to me… Nevertheless a very promising DVD!
As B-San already commented: pictures of the Nostalgic 2 days already were available in the past days. I searched on Minkara and picked out the nicest I could find:

Yes, a genuine pre facelift Nissan Skyline RS Turbo DR30 and it is the cleanest example I’ve seen so far!

It also got the cleanest FJ20-ET ever! At least: apart from when these cars left the factory of course! :D
To prove that the Australians did something right with their own Skylines:
Nostalgic 2 days: Fairlady 240Z with 30RB
The Japanese love the 30RB for its increased displacement, so pairing this engine with a set of carbs only sounds like a sane thing when you drop it into a Fairlady 240Z.
Nostalgic 2 days: genuine Nissan Skyline GTR KPGC110
How about this genuine Nissan Skyline GTR? One out of 197 produced, ever! That’s almost as rare as unobtainium!
Nostalgic 2 days: Nissan Sunny B110 race car
And such an event is nothing without the occasional nostalgic race cars:

This Sunny B110 race car had a rare DOHC LZ16 race engine in its engine bay!
Now that may be a bit too much Nissan overkill, so here is a Toyota:
