Supra605 found this JDM Carina CA60 rustoseum parked somewhere in the Ukraine. It appears to be in a very poor state, flat tires, lots of dents, rusty bootlid. Still the fender mirrors appear to be as shiny as 30 years ago! :)
The sticker on the windshield reveals it was exported to the Ukraine around 1989 since it last had seen shaken in Showa 64 (1989).

Imagine getting a tip to collect two unused 80s Nissan Skylines and when arriving at the spot you find this to be parked between the bushes:
Nissan Skyline R30 drag racer rustoseum
An 90s drag race monster based upon a Skyline DR30!
The hood is a lightweight FRP bonnet by Rebic, headlights have been replaced for dummy items and the front wheels are a set of lightweight Wats.
Nissan Skyline R30 drag racer rustoseum
At the rear two big ass wheels plus tires, a wide (center) exhaust that would make my drainpipe die of envy. ;)
And what about the other Skyline?
Nissan Skyline DR30 widebody
Oh, nothing special: just a widebody Ironmask… w(°0°)w

Such a shame to let a late sixties Toyota Crown 2 door hardtop coupe rusting away…

Part twenty three??? Yeah I kind of forgot to post this, so I skipped one a few weeks ago. ;)
This Nissan Silvia CPS311 project shows you that not all rustoseums end up as a piece of crumbled oxidized iron!
Amazing what they eventually did with the car. However I do wonder how much of that original CSP311 was used in the restored one!

This little red shortnose Skyline Coupe KGC10 is rusting away somewhere on a junkyard. It must be there for a long time now: even a tree is growing out of the side windows!
shortnose Nissan Skyline KGC10
This 1800GL coupe is probably the most unloved model of the hakosuka Skyline because it lacks both the extended wheelbase of the other coupes and at the same time it lacks the smooth lines of the sedan/wagon. You can’t even make GT-R replica out of it, so naturally everybody scraps these little coupes…

Lucky enough the Toyota 2000GT had aluminium bodywork, otherwise it would not have survived standing on the undergrowth this long!
Toyota 2000GT bodywork
The bodywork is of an early type (zenki) and appears to be in tip top shape. Now only where did they leave the chassis then? Or did that dissolve standing there for in the past thirty years?
