I happened to stumble across a TikTok video with a crazy modified Carina TA60, but I couldn’t find out who created it. That’s the issue with TikTok: you don’t really follow people, you just scroll random stuff that interests you. Today I finally found two videos of this crazy build on Youtube!

The company in question is Sbc Modifier in Pakistan. They do crazy builds like crafting a Rolls Royce bodywork on top of a Toyota Corona, a Mustang with scissor doors on top of a Kia Spectre and a Dodge Challenger on top of a Datsun Sunny B210.

The AE92 front bumper fits perfectly with the older Carina A60 looks.<br />
The photo itself is also perfectly shot: the wet asphalt plus the less bright truck and van makes the white Carina stand out from its background. Very nice! :)</p>

<p>I was always wondering about the modern bumpers featuring several Carina’s I saw in the past, just like this one posted by bippu4life:<br />

<p>At first I thought it was an aftermarket bumper based upon the kouki Corolla Levin AE86. But in the picture it states that it is an AE92 bumper. Well, I just came across <a href="http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/114913952" title="AE92 bumper on auctions.yahoo.co.jp" target="_blank">this ad on auctions.yahoo.co.jp selling an Corolla Levin AE92 bumper for an Carina AA63</a>:<br />

<p>I know it must be a Levin bumper because the license plate fits on the grille itself an the Trueno bumper has its emblem over there. And the shape tells me it is a Zenki Levin bumper. It’s a pity both the Levin and Trueno AE92 were never delivered in Europe. The width of the Carina A6 is 1650mm (all models) while the Corolla E9 is 1655mm (all models). That means every E9 bumper will fit, so I’m not limited to the Levin and Trueno bumpers. :)</p>
<p>I don’t really like the normal Corolla E9, but I do like the bumper of the European variant of the <a href="http://www.goo-net.com/usedcar/spread/goo/15/0120090203C4000150202.html" target="_blank">JDM Sprinter E9</a>:<br />

<p>I’m back from holiday in Hungary and I didn’t spot any A60 Carina at all. :(</p>
<p>However I did spot a red A60 Celica in Szombathely and in Körmend a silver USDM AE92 Corolla GT-S (JDM version would be a Sprinter Trueno). Unfortunately both times I didn’t have my camera with me… These are the times I miss a camera on my phone. :(<br />
I told my girlfriend that the silver AE92 would be the successor of my previous car: the good old AE86 Corolla. In fact it would be not entirely true since my good old Corolla used to be a SR5 before TE71Corolla converted it.</p>
