Back in 1989 when Toyota rebranded the Toyota Celsior to the Lexus LS400 it introduced the car with an almost unbelievable ad: a stack of champagne glasses was placed on the bonnet while the car drove 145mph (240km/h) on a rolling road. The champagne glasses remained steady even though the engine under it revved all the way up to 5000rpm. Amazing!
This Lexus owner tried to recreate that stack on his brand new 2009 LS460 (XF40) and see if it would be as good as the LS400 and his Youtube video went viral this week. He utterly fails and the stack collapses around 4000 rpm:
Now, you may think that the ad was wrong, but in reality the owner actually failed to stack the champagne glasses properly.
Lexus responded by recreating it on both a 2009 LS460 and 1990 LS400 and amazingly the stack remains stable:
Now how about that?

Remember last weeks Skyline DR30? Same car, same date but this time two full rounds of Okayama International Circuit with a HUD projected over the video:
The funny thing is that you can watch his draw various nice patterns with the g-forces in the HUD. You will probably watch this video twice now: one time the two rounds and one time with your eyes on the g-force gauge. :D :D
Now this is something different: a Nissan Skyline DR30 with a huge american influence. Maybe better to referred as the Skyline Trans Am:

You can clearly see the nose is a copy of the 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
The big question remains: what were they thinking:

Lots and lots of scoops, wings and other stuff. It almost feels like a riced out Firebird… But the only thing is that it isn’t a Pontiac…

When I watched this video half of my face was just laughing the whole time while the other half was turning into disgust: it tells you how to make your own almost real (sweet) candy sushi:
Okay, I must say the structure of the tuna is spot on! And the small fish eggs look so real I would immediately take a bite! Perhaps a way for vegans to actually eat sushi?
Still knowing that it actually is candy sweet stops me from buying such package…
If sushi is not your thing, how about a nice candy pizza and pasta?

When I was looking fo pictures of rusty Ultraman’s Cosmo when I wrote about the Mazda Cosmo wreckyard I came across this Ultraman Cosmo FAIL:
