Nothing more typically Japanese than posing on a picture with a V-sign, especially when you are resting against your Honda CRX:

Now is this little girl doing baton twirling or Bojutsu in front of her daddy’s C210?
Bojutsu Skyline C210
It surely is a very nice Skyline Japan: presumably a 2000GT with some deep dish SSR Mk1s (I reckon something like 8J) and (after market?) front fenders with big breathing gills! And in the background a nice Mark II X30 hardtop coupe and what looks like the headlights of an Isuzu 117 coupe.
According to the source the picture was taken around 1990. Found at uvj*9’s blog
Dunno what’s the story of this gigantic silencer, but it surely must have looked very impressive in the late 80s:
Gigantic silencer on Skyline R30
That squatting pose reminds me a bit of Takumi and Istuki on an Initial D manga cover.
Back in 1989 when the Japanese economy was still blooming and the Lost Decade was on the doorstep, this guy looked so careless in his Y30:
Careless in your Gloria Y30
Nothing to worry about! ;)

What would you prefer more: a tekamen Skyline DR30 or a girl sandwich? Why not do both?

And of course a nice zenki Levin in the background. ;)
When I found the picture of Fuji International Speedway I posted last week I got an Initial D feeling from the whole scene. So I could not resist modifying it with some comic sound effects from Initial D:
Comic version: Fuji Speedway International visit
Even better to keep this version in your family album, right?
