One of the cars at the Internationaal Toyota Treffen has been my favorite for a long time now:
Thomas’ (aka The Doctor) Corolla KE20 started out as a Belgian rally modified Corolla KE20 and after blowing up his engine twice he decided to take it off the road and rebuild it from the ground up again!
The work and effort he put into the project can really be seen:
Unfortunately at a Danish Toyota meeting a Celica kissed the KE20’s butt but that’s hardly visible anymore.
One of the modifications was to lower the car to kyusha kai/shakotan heights with deep dished SSR Mk2s:
You probably noticed his rear wheels don’t match. Normally his Corolla has fitting SSR Mk2s at the rear as well.
I forgot to shoot a picture under the hood, but believe me: there is a very potent 2T-G in there. ;)
I hope you can understand now why this car is one of my favorites!
